ORGANIZATION
Crelogix was established in Canada in 1974 as a
consumer finance company by the name of Travelers
Acceptance Corporation and it focused on the growing
market for providing small and medium sized businesses
with indirect financing for its consumer customers
desiring to acquire products and personal services.
In 1993 Travelers Acceptance Corporations’ United States based parent company
sold its Canadian and the new Canadian company kept
the Travelers name and brand as Travelers Financial
Group. The Group was reorganized in 2004 into three
separate and autonomous companies, each focused in its
area of core competence. Since this time the company
has continued to grow and has
expanded its operation to become a nation-wide provider
of indirect consumer financing solutions offered through
authorized vendor sponsors and partners.
The company in 2008 increased its
capital base through partnership among its existing
private equity investors, a major financial institution,
and the company’s senior management group.
On Novemebr 1st, 2009 the company changed its name to Crelogix.
